Assistive Technology Evaluations Now Available At No Cost Through NMTAP

The New Mexico Technology Assistance Program (NMTAP) is pleased to announce that assistive technology evaluations are available for a limited time at no cost for New Mexico residents with no other funding source. This is part of NMTAP's efforts to reach populations who have been traditionally underserved.

An in person evaluation is conducted by an NMTAP consultant in person. Results are written in a report with recommendations of specific devices, software and/or hardware that are appropriate to help overcome barriers, increase independence, and enhance quality of life.

A documented disability is needed to qualify for this service. To find out more information about this project, contact Carol Cadena of NMTAP at (800) 866-2253.
