New Las Cruces Office Advocate Patrick Maestas
Patrick Maestas recently joined Jennifer Hensley as an advocate in P&A's new Las Cruces office. Patrick brings to P&A 20 years of experience in social services, working with health issues for the elderly, mental health services, and advocacy for other underserved populations.
A Tucumcari native, Patrick received his Bachelor's
degree in Social Science from Chapman University in Orange, California,
and is currently working on his Master's in Latin American History at New
Mexico State University. Patrick is married and the proud father of three
sons, all of whom are college students.
Patrick is part of P&A's Information and Training Unit, responsible
for increasing awareness of the rights of disabled persons throughout the
state. Because he is bilingual in Spanish and English, Patrick makes P&A's
services more accessible to the Spanish speaking population of Southern
New Mexico.
