New Staff Member

Tonia Trapp was hired as an advocate in April of this year. Prior to this, she worked as a case manager for DD Waiver clients for a year and a half. Tonia is relatively new to New Mexico, as she arrived here in mid-1998 just after marrying and completing her graduate education. She is richly enjoying her time in the land of chilies. Of course, her home state of Virginia will always be most dear to her. Tonia is a proud graduate of The College of William and Mary and of UNC Chapel Hill. She enjoys swimming, writing, and singing. One of her ambitions is to write and publish a book, possibly about her experiences as a blind person.
