We are pleased to announce that Claire Dickson, attorney at law, has joined Protection and Advocacy as of January 2, 2001. A native of Albuquerque, Claire received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Arizona State University, and went on to earn her J.D. from the University of Denver in 1993. Claire has been working in Chinle, Arizona and Farmington, New Mexico with DNA People’s Legal Services for seven years, tackling legal issues faced by low-income Native Americans on and off the Navajo Reservation. Some of the cases she worked on involved the rights of the disabled, which brought Protection and Advocacy to her attention. Welcome aboard, Claire!
