The 2nd Annual Disability Conference, "Continuing Toward Equality in the New Millennium" will take place March 21 & 22, 2002 at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The conference will be held in conjunction with the 6th Annual Adult Transition Fair sponsored by APS on March 21st. Some of the interesting topics covered in 12 workshops will be Fair Housing, Environmental Illness and Access, Women and Disability, Wellness and Disability, Accessibility (ADA), and Sexuality/Intimacy Relationships. Examples of Plenary topics are Legislation/Political Issues, Disability Culture and Employment. There will be an awards banquet with entertainment including a dance afterwards.
